Christina & Josh’s December wedding was the perfect end to my 2011 season. The weekend before Christmas in South Carolina is generally pretty cold but this December Saturday was warm and perfect for outside photographs. Christina & Josh were married at Daniel Chapel on the Furman University Campus which has plenty of outside beauty that served as the perfect backdrop. I’m not afraid to say that this couple was one of my favorite couples of the year. I love each of my Bride & Grooms but some couples you just “click” with and share an immediate connection from the start. I loved Christina’s honesty and raw sweetness from our first meeting at a local coffee shop and learned during the engagement session that Josh was her perfect other half. I simply adore these two and am honored to have photographed their wedding. And now enough gushing about them….it’s time for some pictures.

Sunset fell right in the middle of the ceremony so Christina and Josh opted for a first look to allow time for all of the portraits before the ceremony so we could take advantage of some yummy light. I love this set from their first time seeing each other.

I had a few minutes with Christina before the ceremony and I could have photographed her until the sun went down. So gorgeous! It is weird to say how much I love her beautifully creamy skin? Because I do.

I am so in love with these next two sets. Christina and Josh walked down the aisle and straight outside. It was perfect timing for taking advantage of the beautiful blue sky after the sunset!
The reception took place at the beautiful Westin Poinsett in Downtown Greenville. I loved the beautiful bokeh compliments of the huuuuuge Christmas tree!
We went up to the roof for a few shots during cocktail hour. Being on the roof and without heat from the sun, it was freezing and the wind was blowing like crazy but Christina and Josh still looked great!
